I don’t have to tell any American that watches/reads the news that today was unprecedented. It literally made American history. We’re at a point where we are discussing the 25th amendment and a second impeachment at the same time. It has been less than 12-hours from the breach of our Capitol.

Tonight, I opened my inbox to find an email from a predominantly White church in Virginia (that I occasionally attend) with the subject line: ‘A Call To Prayer’. They might as well have written “Thoughts and Prayers” [to our democracy].
